At present Samsung's Galaxy Watch 5 starts somewhere at $280.

Now recent reports reveal the expected pricing of the upcoming smartwatch, which is rumoured to be available from $300.
According to a report in 9to5Google, the Pixel Watch with support for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, will be available from $350, whereas the cellular version of the Google smartwatch will start at $400. The upcoming Pixel Watch will come in three different colours - black, gold and silver, as per the report.
If prices are compared with other smartwatches in the market, then anything above $300 is a heavy price to pay. At present Samsung's Galaxy Watch 5 starts somewhere at $280.
The much-awaited smartwatch will flaunt a round face with a domed design, glass curving over the edges. The Pixel Watch is made of recycled stainless steel and runs on Google's Wear OS 3 which features a "refreshed UI" with better navigation and smart notifications, as per reports.
According to early speculations, the smartwatch will only work with Android devices.
Meanwhile, the Pixel Watch will be released alongside the tech brand's upcoming smartphone series, which Google has confirmed will run on second-generation 'Tensor G2' chip.
The Tensor chip was built in partnership with Samsung, enhancing Exynos-like processors with Google's machine learning prowess. According to 9to5Google, on the updated magazine page for the Pixel 7, there's now a reference to the "Google Tensor G2" chip. It is likely that the Tensor G2 chip will also arrive in next year's Pixel 7a as well as in a rumoured Google foldable device.
The Tensor G2 will allow Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro to "bring even more helpful, personalised features to photos, videos, security, and speech recognition."
"It has customisable bands that easily attach. With this watch, you'll get the new Wear OS by Google experience and Fitbit's industry-leading health and fitness tools right on your wrist," according to the company.
Google had bought Fitbit for $2.1 billion. The Fitbit integration will go beyond customising watch faces and be "imbued throughout" the Pixel Watch experience, as per reports.
