Golden Globes Awards 2026: Hollywood’s awards season is all set to begin, and all eyes are now on the upcoming Golden Globe Awards 2026. While anticipation around the winners is still building, the organisers have already added to the excitement by unveiling a star-studded presenters' list. Among the global names set to take the stage this year is Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Priyanka Chopra joins as presenters at Golden Globes 2026

On Thursday (January 8), the organisers announced that Priyanka Chopra Jonas will serve as one of the presenters at the 83rd edition of the Golden Globe Awards. The update was shared through the official Golden Globes account on X (formerly Twitter), confirming her participation just days ahead of the ceremony.





Priyanka will be joined by an impressive lineup of presenters, including Hollywood heavyweights such as George Clooney and Julia Roberts. The list also features pop culture favourites like Miley Cyrus, Orlando Bloom, Pamela Anderson, Melissa McCarthy, Snoop Dogg and Queen Latifah. Adding a strong K-pop presence to the ceremony, BLACKPINK’s Lisa is also set to appear as a presenter.

When and where to watch the award show in India?

The Golden Globe Awards ceremony will be held at the iconic Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. The event is scheduled to begin at 8 pm Eastern Time and will be broadcast live on CBS in the United States. Viewers can also stream the ceremony on Paramount+. For Indian audiences, the show will be available to stream on Lionsgate Play on January 12 at 6:30 am, allowing fans to watch the action unfold live.

Returning to host the ceremony is comedian and actor Nikki Glaser, who will take on hosting duties for the second consecutive year. Glaser received positive feedback for her 2025 debut, which marked a milestone as she became the first woman to host the Golden Globes solo.

Despite changes in television viewing habits, the Golden Globes continue to draw strong numbers. Last year’s broadcast attracted an average of around 10 million viewers.


Nominees of Golden Globes 2026

On the nominations front, the film One Battle After Another has emerged as the biggest contender this year, leading with nine nominations. The film earned acting nods for Leonardo DiCaprio and Chase Infiniti, along with a directing nomination for Paul Thomas Anderson. In television categories, The White Lotus stands out with six nominations, making it the most-nominated TV series at this year’s Golden Globes.
