From cricketer to life coach: Jonty Rhodes all set to start wellness centre in Sri Lanka

Jonty Rhodes has in the past spoken about starting a wellness centre in India. But a few weeks ago in Mumbai, the former South African star named Sri Lanka as his choice for the venture.

“It’s a beautiful country and so my wife and I are planning to start a wellness centre there,” Rhodes said at a dinner in a luxury hotel in Santacruz.

The 49-year-old Rhodes, known for his electrifying fielding, was the fielding coach of Mumbai Indians for nine years. But he seems to have turned the page on his cricketing life. “I’m no longer passionate about cricket,” he said. Well-played and well-being to you, Jonty.
