Pearl in Red – Korean Broadcasting System (KBS)
Pearl in Red premiered on Korean Broadcasting System on February 23 and dives deep into revenge and corporate politics.
The series stars Park Jin Hee and Nam Sang Ji as two women brought together by tragedy. One loses her twin sister under suspicious circumstances, while the other’s entire family becomes a victim of the powerful Adele Group, a ruthless chaebol empire. Instead of seeking justice through conventional means, the two women form an unlikely alliance. They secretly enter the corporate world of the Adele Group, planning a strategic takeover to expose the family’s dark secrets.
The Practical Guide to Love – Viki
The Practical Guide to Love is all set to premiere on Viki on February 28 and offers a refreshing romantic comedy. The show features Han Ji Min in the lead role, alongside Park Sung Hoon and Lee Ki Taek. The story revolves around a single hotel manager who decides to approach love in a more “practical” way by going on blind dates. Things become complicated when two very different men enter her life, a calm and principled CEO of a woodworking studio and a charming, free-spirited theatre actor.
Honour – ENA
Honour is currently airing on ENA, with new episodes released on February 23 and 24. Starring Lee Na Young, Jung Eun Chae and Lee Chung Ah, the legal mystery thriller follows three lawyers who run the L&J (Listen and Join) law firm. They specialise in cases involving crimes against women and are known for standing firmly with victims. However, as they handle challenging cases, they are also forced to confront a scandal from their own past that threatens their reputation and friendship.
Bloody Flower – Amazon Prime Video / Channel K
Bloody Flower is streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Channel K, with its finale episodes airing on February 25. The mystery thriller stars Ryeoun, Sung Dong Il and Geum Sae Rok. The story centres on a serial killer responsible for 17 murders, but with a shocking twist. He has the ability to cure incurable diseases. This unusual premise raises difficult moral questions about justice, ethics and whether good deeds can erase horrific crimes.
Our Universe – Viki
Our Universe is streaming on Viki, with new episodes released this week. The coming-of-age rom-com stars Bae In Hyuk and Roh Jeong Eui. It follows a photography assistant and a high-achieving graduate who initially dislike each other after a bad first meeting.
