If your attitude is to skip the workout, citing holiday as an excuse, then perhaps you are primed to take a leaf out of this founder’s book. “I think it is criminal to not workout on comparatively light days like Sundays,” says Neha Motwani, founder, Fitternity.
Of course, she is half the brain behind a platform that connects fitness enthusiasts with workout classes and programs at different locations across cities. So, it’s safe to say that workouts are on her mind. Apart from working out to de-stress on her off-duty days, she likes to read and clean up. “I love cleaning and setting things in order as I find it de-stressing to be clutter-free,” she told ET Panache.
As for her personal fitness mantra, she ensures that she gets at least 30 to 45 minutes of workout five times a week. Her favourite workouts include yoga, running, pilates and functional training. On days when she doesn’t workout, she ensures that she eats light and avoids extra calories. And, pro-tip: She always carries her gym-bag with her in the car.
When asked if Motwani and Fitternity’s other co-founder, Jayam Vora, are workout partners too, along with being business partners, a negative response was proffered. “We don’t end up working out together due to work commitments & our schedules,” Motwani said.
