Fans won’t have to wait long, the film, which follows racing legend Sonny Hayes as he takes charge of a struggling Formula 1 team and mentors a rising young driver, will be available for rent on August 22, 2025. The action-packed drama brings intense racing scenes with emotional storytelling and will be released in English with a PG-13 rating. Besides this, F1 is also an Apple Original film, which means its digital streaming home will be Apple TV+ following its theatrical run. However, an official streaming date hasn’t been confirmed yet. According to early reports, the film is expected to arrive on Apple TV+ around three months after its release in cinemas. If things go as planned, viewers might see it land on the platform sometime between late September and early October on Apple TV+.
