The excitement for search engine giant Google's first-ever smartwatch is at its peak. Although there hasn't been any official announcement for the smartwatch, there have been ample signs hinting at its possible arrival soon.
The company's upcoming 'Pixel Watch', which may launch at the Google I/O developer event, is expected to be powered by a 300mAh battery. Reports also suggest that the device may come with cellular connectivity capabilities.
A source familiar with the matter told 9To5Google that the Pixel Watch has a 300mAh battery pack and may have cellular connectivity.

According to a recent report, the tech giant is planning three models of the upcoming smartwatch - titled 'GWT9R', 'GBZ4S' and 'GQF4C'. However, it is not clear which model(s) will support the cellular connectivity feature.
The three models have received approval from the Bluetooth 'Special Interest Group' (SIG), and have been certified by Google labelled as a "BT Wearable Design-Controller Subsystem".
The next regulatory stop is likely the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This is where every smartwatch's listing and features are revealed.
A few weeks ago, Google had filed for a trademark for its 'Pixel Watch'. Last month, a prototype of the long-rumoured Pixel Watch was reportedly found at a restaurant in the United States.
While the Google I/O developer event is the launch of the newest software innovations, it has also seen Google's hardware launches like the Pixel 3a and Nest Hub Max. Hence, the experts are hoping to see its first smartwatch at this event.
People are also expecting some exciting announcements of new Google Assistant features and improvements, smart speakers for homes, and the budget smartphone - Pixel 6a.
According to GSM Arena, the event will kick off with Google's CEO, Sundar Pichai, who should give a rundown of the company's plans, green projects and privacy. Google I/O is scheduled to start on May 11 and continue through May 12.

Premium smartphone manufacturer Google launched "the best expression of Android" - Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro - on Tuesday.
Built with recycled aluminum, the Pixel 6 (8GB RAM) starts at $599, and the 6 Pro (12GB RAM) is priced at $899.
While the devices are available for order, the Pixel fans in India may have to wait longer. The tech giant's initial announcement didn't mention the launch in India, at least for now.
It will be available only in eight regions like the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and Taiwan from October 28.
