Elon Musk's stinker to Tesla staff: 'Return to work or quit', billionaire says remote work no longer acceptable
In an email, Musk told the Tesla staff to get back to the office or quit.

After the Covid-19 pandemic gripped the world, companies and employees shifted to the work-from-home module as a safety protocol. As the world slowly started to open up and step outside, a few companies maintained the WFH routine, considering the advantages and spike in productivity.
However, Musk isn't a fan.
The Tesla Inc chief shot an elaborate email to all the employees, saying that remote work is no longer acceptable, urging staff to get back to office or quit.
In the email with subject line "remote work is no longer acceptable", the 50-year-old said that anyone who is interested in working from home must be in office for a minimum of 40 hours per week or leave the company.
"This is less than we ask of factory workers," Musk wrote.
The billionaire further said that if there are particularly exceptional contributors, making this impossible for the staff, then he will review and approve those exceptions directly.
"The office must be a main Tesla office, not a remote branch office unrelated to the job duties, for example being responsible for Fremont factory human relations, but having your office be in another state," the Tesla boss wrote in his mail which was sent to Tesla employees on Tuesday.
