Heard revealed that since Depp’s team was not communicating with her, she had no way of knowing if her husband would be showing up at the red carpet event. When she found herself alone there, she saw another ‘gentleman’ aka Elon Musk, who came and introduced himself, and reminded Heard that they had met before, when Musk was accompanying his mother.
It was during this time that Musk and Heard started talking. "He seemed like a real gentleman … He was really nice. He sat at a nearby table and we got to speaking that night and eventually became friends," recalled Heard.
In 2018, Heard in an interview to The Hollywood Reporter had gushed about Musk and her ‘friendship’ with him. The actress had said, "Elon and I had a beautiful relationship, and we have a beautiful friendship now, one that was based on our core values. Intellectual curiosity, ideas and conversation, a shared love for science. We just bonded on a lot of things that speak to who I am on the inside. I have so much respect for him."
However, the court documents submitted in this case, alleges that Musk had a secret threesome with Heard and model-actress Cara Delevingne at Depp's apartment in Los Angeles in 2016, when the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean' actor was away in Australia.
