Elon Musk is ‘fit, ripped & healthy’ - fasting (and this wonder drug!) is the secret

When you have all the wealth in the world, your life not only becomes the centre of attention. There is considerable curiosity about the rich, their way of life, fashion and their secret to fitness. The world’s richest man Elon Musk is not always in the news for his space and the Internet business, or his latest perfume business.

The 51-year-old has been in the news for some of the most bizarre reasons. However, this time he is back in the news for his fitness and vigour.

A curious Twitter user recently asked the billionaire what was the secret of his fitness. The user Eva McMillan asked the question adding that Musk was looking awesome, fit, ripped and healthy. Eva went on to ask if he was lifting weights or eating healthy.

The Tesla chief who is known for being exceedingly active on Twitter shot a response in no time. The billionaire said that the secret of his fitness was fasting and a drug called Wegovy. Incidentally, the drug happens to be a weight-loss prescription medication. It is essentially a semaglutide manufactured by Novo Nordisk.
In separate tweets, the business magnate said ‘Fasting’ and ‘Wegovy’. The drug mentioned by Musk is an injectable drug that is used once a week to help manage diabetes. However, in 2021 the US Food and Drug Administration approved the drug as a medication for chronic weight management. As per reports, the drug suppresses appetite by balancing the body’s hunger hormones and delaying digestion. The drug has reportedly led to a reduction of up to 20 per cent of body weight in about 68 weeks in users, according to a report on The Insider.

While Musk’s Twitter buyout deal is still underway, the SpaceX chief launched his line of perfume earlier this week. Named 'Burnt Hair', a bottle of Musk's perfume costs $100 (about Rs 8,400). "The finest fragrance on Earth," the 51-year-old wrote as he introduced his new perfume to the world on the micro-blogging platform,” he said in a post on his Twitter account.
