I never meant to hit “send” and it was only a joke — challenge Tom Cruise to a punch up, ha ha — but post it, I did. It may have been something I drank. Anyway, this is the fellow who jumps out of helicopters, does his own stunts and takes on missions impossible. His work includes 'The Last Samurai' and 'Rogue Nation' and 'Jack Reacher'. I’m a teen heartthrob. My work includes 'As long as you love me' and 'Boyfriend'.

The most fighting I’ve done is to get away from the kisses of 13-year-old fan girls. What should I do to get out of this now?

You can try the classic celebrity escape line — “my account was hacked”. It seems to work for most people in India. I confess I was unfamiliar with your music till this moment. Based on my listening to some of your songs, I have confidence in the outcome of your match up not just Cruise but anyone over the age of 18. 2017 was a year of change for Hollywood in more ways than one. In October, media mogul Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexual assault, by not one but by multiple stars. Accusations against Weinstein led other women to speak up against the likes of Kevin Spacey, Brett Ratner, and a host of other influential men who had misused their power for far too long. And these are the stories that will mark this year.

Despite these odds, 2018 seems to a promising year with filmmakers focussing on the industry’s challenges to make some great movies. And with Steven Spielberg, David Yeats, Christopher McQuarrie, and Gary Ross gearing up to hit the screens next year, we can’t help feel optimistic.
