Dr. D's tweet fix to Justin Bieber for challenging Tom Cruise

Bieber challenged Cruise to fight in the Octagon.

He is one of the leading doctors in the country. He values his privacy (but not of his clients).

Dear Dr D,
Last night, in a moment of madness, I wrote this message on Twitter: “I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the Octagon. Tom if you don’t take this fight your scared and you will never live it down.”

I never meant to hit “send” and it was only a joke — challenge Tom Cruise to a punch up, ha ha — but post it, I did. It may have been something I drank. Anyway, this is the fellow who jumps out of helicopters, does his own stunts and takes on missions impossible. His work includes 'The Last Samurai' and 'Rogue Nation' and 'Jack Reacher'. I’m a teen heartthrob. My work includes 'As long as you love me' and 'Boyfriend'.

The most fighting I’ve done is to get away from the kisses of 13-year-old fan girls. What should I do to get out of this now?

Panic Stations

Dear Mr Bieber,
You can try the classic celebrity escape line — “my account was hacked”. It seems to work for most people in India. I confess I was unfamiliar with your music till this moment. Based on my listening to some of your songs, I have confidence in the outcome of your match up not just Cruise but anyone over the age of 18. In the Octagon [whatever that is], play your song 'Baby' on a loop. I guarantee that your opponent will tap out or flee the field. Good luck.

Hollywood In 2018: 'Jurassic World', 'Ocean's 8' & Tom Cruise-ing in 'M:I6'
1/9
2017 was a year of change for Hollywood in more ways than one. In October, media mogul Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexual assault, by not one but by multiple stars. Accusations against Weinstein led other women to speak up against the likes of Kevin Spacey, Brett Ratner, and a host of other influential men who had misused their power for far too long. And these are the stories that will mark this year.

Despite these odds, 2018 seems to a promising year with filmmakers focussing on the industry’s challenges to make some great movies. And with Steven Spielberg, David Yeats, Christopher McQuarrie, and Gary Ross gearing up to hit the screens next year, we can’t help feel optimistic.

Before there was Voldermot, there was Grindelwald (Johnny Depp)!

The sequel to the successful 2016 ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’, this film sees one of the most-loved Harry Potter characters, Albus Dumbeldore (played by Jude Law), recruit Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to win the battle against the dark arts.

Depp’s casting as Grindelwald had left many fans upset due to the domestic violence allegations against the actor. But both JK Rowling, who has written the screenplay, and the makers have defended their decision saying that it was his ‘private matter’. Directed by David Yeats, who previously directed the first Fantastic Beasts movie as well as the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth Harry Potter movies, this one is out on November 16.

*Note: Get ready to meet young Leta Lestrange (Zoë Kravitz).
