Even as the nation continues to reel under the demise of playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath fondly known as KK, the late singer’s family has come out to ask fans to not target his team.

Based on an Instagram post by the late singer’s daughter, Taamara, it seems that his team has been targeted frequently by fans ever since his unfortunate death.

Taamara requested KK’s fans to refrain from targeting his team. She asked them to be kind instead of sending them hate mails that were inspired by reports of ‘some unverified journalists, channels and other sources’.

KK’s daughter shared a note on her Instagram account which was co-signed by her mother Jyothy and brother Nakul. The family of KK has requested social media users to avoid directing their anger toward his manager Hitesh Bhatt and other team members.

"I have heard about hate mail and a lot of anger being directed towards Hitesh uncle and Shubham. To those of you resorting to such abuse, ask yourself what would dad think if he could see this? You're basing your judgment on the word of some unverified journalists, channels and other sources that regularly photoshop thumbnails and include clickbait titles. Don't spread hate on their behest (sic)," read the post by Tamara shared on Sunday night.
Taamara in her post said that every moment KK was with them, he was also with his second family – his fans. She urged fans to not buy into the hate spreading rumours and instead send them love and support. She asked if the fans loved him so much, shouldn’t his fans trust the people whom he trusted the most.

“Please don’t buy into the hate spreading rumours, please send your love and support to them too. They need it just as much as we do, we are all suffering. I’m very grateful that even though dad didn’t have us on his last day, he had them with him. These are the people that dad himself wholeheartedly trusted and loved, and are a big reason why dad become who he was. I’d like to ask you if you loved dad so much, don’t you trust who he trusted? I implore everyone to cease this verbal abuse or abuse of any kind, and if you spot it please take a stand and speak up against it. Be kind,” read the post.

Taamara also thanked KK’s team for taking care of him as a family member. "We wanted to thank all the beautiful human beings in this picture for accompanying dad on all his travels and the vital contributions they made to his shows, making them the memorable spectacles they used to be," she wrote in the post where she also shared a picture of the late singer with his team.
