The countdown has already started for the release of the much-awaited movie Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the makers dropped the trailer on Saturday (March 7), and it stars Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. Now, along with the trailer, the makers have also announced paid preview shows ahead of the film’s main release date, which is March 19.

The special paid preview screenings will allow audiences to watch the film before its official theatrical release - March 18. The makers introduced these early shows to build excitement among fans and create strong word-of-mouth ahead of the big day.



These preview screenings will be held in several major cities across India. Moviegoers in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata will get the opportunity to watch the film earlier than others. Cinemas in these cities have scheduled multiple slots throughout the evening to accommodate eager viewers.

In Mumbai, the first paid preview show will begin at around 4:45 pm, while the final screening is scheduled for 11:45 pm. Delhi is expected to follow a similar schedule, with shows beginning around 5 pm and continuing until late at night. Bengaluru and Hyderabad will also host preview screenings with comparable timings. Kolkata, meanwhile, is offering a smaller number of shows but will still give audiences a chance to experience the film ahead of its official release.

Tickets for the early screenings are already available on major ticket booking platforms, including BookMyShow. The starting price for standard seats is reported to be around Rs 300, though prices vary depending on the theatre and location. Premium recliner seats in some cinemas can cost as much as Rs 1,400 or more.

Demand for the preview screenings appears to be strong. According to reports, ticket prices in certain locations have gone as high as Rs 2,400 due to increased interest among fans. Advance bookings have also shown impressive numbers, with reports suggesting that more than 40,000 tickets for the preview shows have already been sold across several major theatre chains. This has reportedly generated around Rs 5 crore in early ticket sales.

Unlike the first instalment, which was primarily released in Hindi, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge will be released in five languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
