According to her, after spending so many years in the spotlight, she has already gone through different phases and no longer feels the need to prove herself to anyone.Kareena told The Hollywood Reporter India that her simple mantra today is to stop worrying about what others might say. She explained that “I don’t care what people say. Been there, done that, seen it all. What excites me more is [a challenge], like going bare in The Buckingham Murders."
The actor also spoke about how her choices as a performer have evolved over the years. Earlier in her career, Kareena was known for starring in big commercial films, but today she finds herself drawn to projects that challenge her as an actor. She emphasised that she fully owns each phase of her journey.
Speaking about her current stage in life, Kareena said she is thoroughly enjoying her forties. At 46, she feels confident and happy, both personally and professionally. The actor proudly described herself as a mother of two who believes she looks and feels great at this stage of life.
