Streaming details of Dhurandhar 2
While the teaser buzz continues, an important update regarding the film’s OTT plans has also surfaced. According to official poster, the makers have changed the streaming partner for the sequel. After previously shifting the music rights from Saregama to T-Series, the team has now confirmed that the OTT rights for Dhurandhar: The Revenge across all languages have been acquired by Jio Hotstar. The confirmation came alongside the release of the film’s first-look poster, making the announcement official.The decision to move from Netflix, which streamed the first part, to Jio Hotstar has sparked curiosity among fans. Despite the speculation, the makers have not shared the exact reason behind the change. For now, audiences know that after its theatrical run, the sequel will eventually be available to stream on Jio Hotstar.
Moreover, the official poster of Dhurandhar 2, is dominated by deep red tones, shows Ranveer Singh soaked in rain, reinforcing the theme of revenge that the title promises. Sharing the poster on social media, Ranveer captioned it with the line “Ab bigadne ka waqt aa gaya hai,” suggesting that the sequel will push the story into more dangerous and chaotic territory.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar released in December last year and emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood history, minting over Rs 1300 crore worldwide. The spy thriller followed Ranveer Singh’s character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who operates undercover as Hamza Ali Mazari while infiltrating Karachi’s underworld to dismantle a terror network. The film also starred Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal in key roles.
There is also speculation that Akshaye Khanna’s popular character, Pakistani gangster Rehman Dakait, could return in the sequel, possibly through flashback sequences. His name being tagged in Ranveer’s poster post has only added fuel to these rumours.
