According to early estimates shared by industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 collected more than Rs 100 crore nett on its opening day in India. The final numbers are expected to be confirmed later. The film already broke records before its official release. Its paid previews on March 18 earned around Rs 43 crore, which is being reported as one of the highest preview collections for any Indian film. With Day 1 collections added, the film’s total domestic earnings have already crossed Rs 145 crore within the first two days of its theatrical run.What makes the achievement stand apart is that Dhurandhar: The Revenge has managed to outperform several recent blockbusters. It has surpassed the opening day figures of films such as Jawan (Rs 75 crore), Pathaan (Rs 57 crore), Stree 2 (Rs 54 crore) and Animal (Rs 64 crore) in the Hindi market, establishing itself as one of the biggest openers for Bollywood.
Across all Indian releases, the film now reportedly holds the second-highest opening ever, trailing only Pushpa 2: The Rule. In fact, when compared specifically with the Hindi version of Pushpa 2, Dhurandhar 2 is said to have performed even better on Day 1, marking a major milestone for the Hindi film industry. According to Sacnilk.com, Pushpa 2 earned Rs 70.30 crore in the Hindi belt and Dhurandhar 2 minted Rs 99 crore.
