Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who tied the knot in two beautiful ceremonies - a Konkani wedding and an Anand Karaj - in Lake Como last week, are currently in the actress's hometown Bengaluru to host the first of their two wedding receptions.
The function will take place at The Leela hotel where the actors are staying till Thursday. Reportedly, Padukone has a soft corner for the hotel as it houses a branch of her favourite restaurant, New York's award-winning Le Cirque.
Padukone has always had her roots firm in Bengaluru, where used to live with her family before moving to Mumbai for work. Born to badminton player Prakash Padukone and wife Ujjala in Copenhagen, Denmark, the family relocated to Bengaluru when the actress was a year old, and have been there ever since. The 'Ram Leela' actress studied at Sophia High School and Mount Carmel College in the city before kicking off her modelling career.
The family even began the pre-wedding festivities with a Nandi Puja at the residence in the city. The Padukone family at the Nandi Puja. For the reception, the 'Padmaavat' actors will once again be dressed by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who has outfitted them for all the functions so far - right from Padukone's Nandi Puja to the wedding ceremonies and even their post-wedding airport looks.
A week after the Bengaluru bash, the couple will also host a reception in Mumbai for their industry colleagues and Singh's family and friends at the Grand Hyatt hotel on November 28. The Mumbai bash is expected to be a star-studded affair after the actors' intimate wedding.

For the second ceremony, a Sindhi wedding, Padukone and Singh looked right out of a royal bridal book. Dressed once again by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, the couple was resplendent in red and gold.
The 'Piku' actress opted for a red lehenga and a dupatta with 'Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava' written on it, completing her traditional look with chooda and kalire. Singh was colour-coordinated in a sherwani and turban in the same also hues.
Also visible was Padukone's engagement ring with a princess cut diamond.
