Deepika Padukone holds Ranveer Singh's mum's hand in picture with the Bhavnanis

It was all ivory and gold at the wedding - right from the decor to the guests' attire, and the couple's outfits. Padukone looked stunning with a floral bun, and Singh arrived under a brocade umbrella.

The groom's father, Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, also kept his look traditional in a white dhoti-kurta.

Deepika's father, Prakash Padukone, opted for an off-white shawl over a white kurta and dhoti. The former badminton star greeted guests as they arrived at the venue for the wedding.

Guests were ferried to the venue by Galli Giacomo & C. boat service. Padukone's mother, Ujjala, was spotted in a silk saree with a floral bun to complete her look.

The guests are all reportedly staying at the luxurious Casta Diva Resort & Spa located in the village of Blevio on the shores of Lake Como.

The private wedding was a relatively Bollywood-free affair, with only close family and friends making it to the guest list. However, among the attendees was actor Suniel Shetty's wife, Mana (seen here).

Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Farah Khan and Aditya Chopra were also reportedly invited.

The couple will host a grand reception for their industry colleagues at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on November 28. Another reception for Padukone's family and friends will also be held in Bengaluru.

The couple had ensured tight security for their wedding. Reportedly, it was on a par with the security provided for a meeting of world leaders. Powerboats manned by guards sailed around the venue as the 'Padmaavat' stars said 'I do'.

The venue for the wedding, Villa del Balbianello is a stunning Italianate villa that began life as a monastery more than seven centuries ago. White roses that dotted the ivy-covered columns of the villa's terrace for the ceremony.

The villas has also featured in the 'Star Wars' and 'James Bond' franchises. Once a retreat for artists and writers, the home was bequeathed by its last owner to an Italian foundation that preserves the country's cultural heritage.

For the second ceremony, a Sindhi wedding, Padukone and Singh looked right out of a royal bridal book. Dressed once again by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, the couple was resplendent in red and gold.

The 'Piku' actress opted for a red lehenga and a dupatta with 'Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava' written on it, completing her traditional look with chooda and kalire. Singh was colour-coordinated in a sherwani and turban in the same also hues.

Also visible was Padukone's engagement ring with a princess cut diamond.

Ranveer Singh's stylist Nitasha Gaurav revealed that the weather forecast for the day had was cloudy with a chance of rain, but luckily for the couple the sky cleared up, giving them a sunny wedding day. She also shared quoted Singh's father, Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, who welcomed Padukone to the family with a reference from the couple's film 'Bajirao Mastani', saying "Yeh Deewani toh Bhavnani ho gayi."

The couple brought fashion photographer Errikos Andreou on board to capture moments from their wedding.

For the Sindhi wedding, the Lake Como venue was decked up with red roses, as the baraatis, clad in red turbans, arrived dancing on a yacht.

The couple will return to India and host two wedding receptions, in Bengaluru and Mumbai each.
