Date delayed, preps in full swing? Ranbir-Alia FaceTime between shoots, family WhatsApp group buzzing with decor & food options

Although no one seems to know the exact date when Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will tie the knot, it seems preparations are in full swing in both households, and the couple too are not sparing any free minute during their shoots, to get on FaceTime, and coordinate on wedding arrangements.
India Today quoted a source saying that the Bhatt and Kapoor are on hour-long FaceTime conversations as they are trying to get everything in order for the big day. The couple is currently trying to wrap up all their Mumbai based work commitments so that they don’t have to leave the city during the prepping phase of the wedding, and they can also work in the meantime.

The report claims that Kapoor is currently busy finishing up Luv Rajan’s film, which also features Shraddha Kapoor in a lead role. The actor reportedly shot an elaborate song sequence this week, with several backup dancers, following his lead. He is also scheduled to film some continuity shots for the Rajan directorial.
On the other hand, his soon-to-be wife, Bhatt is currently filming in Karjat (a few hours ride from Mumbai) for ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ with Ranveer Singh and film-maker Karan Johar.
The media report also quoted an insider saying that Kapoor’s mother Neetu and Bhatt’s mom Soni Razdan are currently busy coordinating about the wedding on the family’s WhatsApp group chat. The group is constantly buzzing with design and decor approvals, as the family get all the venues in order, before the main day.
Kapoor and Bhatt were reportedly slated to tie the knot on April14. However, that seems to have been delayed for security reasons and due to the fact that details of the wedding have now been leaked to the media. The latest report claims that they may be heading to the altar on April 20, although there has been no official confirmation on it yet.
In the meantime, the couple and their families are taking utmost care to ensure privacy. According to a report in PTI, while Kapoor owns an apartment in the Vastu Building, Bhatt reportedly has rented another flat in the same building, but on a different floor so that the preparations can happen smoothly.
As paparazzi crowd outside the building, the couple’s security team has hung a huge white curtain between the building's fencing and a tree, blocking the view from where the photographers could access the flat's entrance.
