Spicy ramen: Ingredients required
To prepare the ramen, all you need to have is ½ packet shirataki noodles, 120ml coconut milk, 1 tbsp Thai red curry paste, 2 chopped garlic cloves, 1 tsp olive oil for the curry, 1 tbsp zero-calorie sweetener and 100ml water, plus as required.Apart from that, you will also need some salt as per taste, ¼ cup boiled corn, bok choy leaves, 100-120g tofu, 1 tsp olive oil for cooking tofu, 1 tbsp gochujang sauce, 4-5 mushrooms and 4-5 steamed brocolli florets.
Spicy ramen: How to make
To prepare the spicy ramen, first you have to heat 1 tsp of olive oil in a pan. Next, sauté the chopped garlic cloves until they become fragrant. Once done, pour in some Thai red curry paste and cook for some time. After that, drain the coconut milk with about 100 ml of water. Make sure to mix the concoction well before bringing to a boil.In the following step, you have to sprinkle in some salt and a zero-calorie sweetener. Stir well and then add the boiled corn and shirataki noodles. Cover and cook for 7–8 minutes until the sauce reduces. The bok choy leaves come next. Cover and cook for another 2 minutes.
Grate the tofu for pan-frying in 1 tsp of olive oil. Keep a lookout until it turns golden brown on both sides. Add the gochujang sauce before cooking for another 4–5 minutes, stirring evenly. The broccoli and mushrooms must be stir-fried too, with salt and pepper in oil. In the final step, assemble the ramen bowl with the prepared ingredients and enjoy with a beverage of your choice.
