“I strongly believe that the pandemic should not stop you from being with loved ones as long as you are cautious in everything you do,” she told ET Panache. “Maybe my perspective is a bit different, as being in pharma, I have been going to the office daily since April.”
The executive director recently made a trip to the United States with her family to visit their relatives. “My husband’s family lives in Los Angeles and we recently travelled with our kids to spend time with them in December. The flight was a stress-free and absolutely safe experience. My thoughts on the flight were of gratitude for being safe & healthy.”
Asked what helped ease her mind on the flight, Thapar said, “The quote that comes most to mind is ‘Courage is the mother of all virtues because without it, you cannot consistently perform the others’.”
For Christmas, Thapar spent a quiet dinner at a friend’s place. “Covid-19 has pushed us to have smaller, more intimate & meaningful get-togethers which is really nice,” she said.
