Couple in Kerala sails in cooking pot to get hitched despite floods, Anand Mahindra calls it recipe to 'cook' a great marriage
Not in a horse carriage or a limousine, but the couple showed up in a large aluminum cooking vessel.

Yes, you read that right! Not in a horse carriage or a limousine, but the couple showed up in a large aluminum cooking vessel as they cut through the flooded waters to arrive at their wedding venue in Alappuzha district's Thalavady.
"This just raised the bar on Indian Jugaad," wrote Mahindra as he shared the video on his official Twitter handle with over 8.5 million followers. "A couple in Kerala went ahead with their wedding despite the flooding & found the most appropriate wedding limousine possible. This is how to ‘cook’ a great marriage…" the businessman further wrote.
The video has now gone viral and making all kinds of right headlines all over the world. According to the media reports, the couple have been identified as health workers. The bride, recognised as Aishwarya and the groom Rahul, both reside in the same locality and had fixed their wedding to be held in the local temple at Thakazhi, according to IANS.

According to reports, the couple borrowed the pot from a local temple and requested two men to push the makeshift boat to help them reach the wedding venue. "It has turned into a wedding which we never imagined," the bride told local media channel Asianet soon after the wedding ceremony was concluded.
Needless to say, Twitter was in awes and mighty impressed with the spirit to make-do despite how bad the situation is. Netizens took to the micro-blogging site to praise the couple's spirit to not give up and see good even in a bad situation.
