'Just an Indian thing!' PM Modi shares flight-mode 'work' pic, Twitter goes wild about the suitcase 'lock'

As Indians, we are always pretty cautious of our belongings, especially when we are on a trip. From double checking on the head count if it's a group vacation to packing an extra pair of clothes, just in case, we have a check list for every travel. And nothing safeguards the trip like a lock on our suitcase, and the key neatly tugged in our pocket. That's basic and nothing alarming, right? But who would have thought that Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi is just like us, pure desi at heart.

A picture from the prime minister's recent trip to the US is going viral on social media which is making every Indian nod and say "just like me". Modi, who flew down to the US to participate in the UN General Assembly, shared a picture from his flight on Twitter. The prime minister is seen completely focused as he reads some documents but what caught netizens' attention was the black suitcase placed next to him with a silver lock on it.

“A long flight also means opportunities to go through papers and some file work," PM Modi captioned the picture while netizens on the internet were completely taken away by the lock on his cabin bag.


"Modiji and I are same. Getting the proper middle-class feeling from the tiny lock placed on the luggage," a user replied to the PM's photo.


"Just Indian thing," another person wrote.



"Nice to see even the prime minister, travelling on Air India One, has to lock his suitcase," Another Twitter user pointed out.
