The UK-based smartphone company, Nothing, is gearing up for the launch of its maiden device, the Nothing phone (1). The company, founded by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, is leaving no stone unturned in the run-up to the launch of its first android device.
The brand has posted a video on its official YouTube channel giving a closer look at the design and development of the highly-anticipated smartphone. The video also showcases the assembly line, the Glyph interface, the sound output, and the processor of the device.
While there have been several rumours surrounding the in-display fingerprint scanner, however the latest video from the brand has confirmed that the smartphone will come with the feature. In the almost-20-minute video, at around 4:20, it can be clearly seen that the new device’s screen will feature an in-display scanner.
The new smartphone is believed to be categorised as a mid-range device. It will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ and will come with a 6.55-inch OLED screen. The smartphone will also come with a 120Hz refresh rate. One of the most striking features of the Nothing phone (1) is its Glyph interface which showcases a host of LED lamps on the rare panel that lights up for different notifications, calls, and alerts.
