On the road: Anjan Rangaraj's collection boasts of Yezdi, Royal Enfield 350 & 25 other vintage beasts

Anjan Rangaraj loves life on the open road. And lucky for the CEO of Catalyst Properties, he has a lot of options to get him there. Rangaraj owns more than 25 vintage motorcycles, with the 1951 Jawa Perak being the one to start off his collection nearly 11 years ago.

“Currently I own most of Jawa series, the entire Yezdi and seven vintage scooters. The most notable ones are the Lambretta scooter and Vespa scooter, among others.”

Rangaraj’s two favourite bikes are a 1979 Vijay scooter and a Royal Enfield 350. He says, “The scooter was the same model my father owned and when I take this bike out, it’s like riding down memory lane. The Enfield was once owned by a musician called Leon Ireland. He passed away in his 20s and had modified this bike into a chopper.”
