The biking enthusiast’s sojourns, or ‘CEO weekend rides’, he says, have also piqued the interest of other top bosses like Skoda Auto MD Gurpratap Boparai and Levis Strauss MD Sanjeev Mohanty, who’ve also got their motor running. It’s a lesson in being self sufficient too.

“We are so used to remote controls, secretaries booking our tickets or opening the door for us. On a bike, you give instructions to yourself. There is no other driver,” Sumbly said.
