Chiranjeevi back in action with ‘Godfather’, set to impress fans with ‘Bhola Shankar’ & ‘Waltair Veerayya’
The megastar who is celebrating his 67th birthday is trending on the Internet for his latest film ‘Godfather’.

The actor who went on to win numerous accolades including Filmfare Awards, and Nandi Awards took a break from the cinema after ‘Shankar Dada Zindabad’ in 2007. Although he appeared in cameo roles in numerous films, Chiranjeevi made a comeback to the silver screen with ‘Khaidi No 150’ in 2017. Ever since there has been no stopping for the megastar.
On his 67th birthday, here is a look at his upcoming films that are bound to impress his ardent fans.
‘Godfather’
The trailer of this political action film was released on August 21, and fans cannot keep calm. The film helmed by Mohan Raja is a remake of the blockbuster Malayalam film ‘Lucifer’ helmed by actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran. Along with Chiranjeevi, ‘Godfather’ boasts of a stellar star cast with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, Nayanthara, Puri Jagannadh, Samuthirakani, and Satyadev Kancharana.
The action-packed trailer of the film has led to considerable excitement among fans of both Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan. The short clip from the film showed Salman Khan in an action avatar and his combination scenes with the megastar are whistle worthy. Stakes are high when it comes to ‘Godfather’ considering his last release ‘Acharya’ along with Ram Charan failed to impress the viewers. The film made on a budget of Rs 140 crore only managed to collect Rs 76 crore at the box-office.

‘Bhola Shankar’
Chiranjeevi will play the lead in film-maker Meher Ramesh’s upcoming action film, ‘Bhola Shankar’. The film is said to be an official remake of Tamil superstar Ajith’s 2015 blockbuster Vedalam. The megastar will be seen with Tamannaaj and Keerthi Suresh. ‘Bhola Shankar’ will hit the theatres on April 14, 2023.
