According to Hindustan Times Telugu report, the film is expected to make its OTT debut around August 21, 2026, although the exact date is yet to be officially confirmed by the streaming platform or the makers.

There is also a possibility that the movie could arrive towards the last week of August, depending on the final streaming schedule. An official announcement regarding the digital premiere is awaited.

Chennai Love Story has reportedly performed well at the box office, especially considering its reported budget of around Rs 15 crore. The film has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in worldwide gross collections.

After 15 days, the romantic drama had earned approximately Rs 36.90 crore net in India. Its India gross collection stood at around Rs 43.54 crore. The film's overseas gross was reported at approximately Rs 6.92 crore, taking its worldwide gross to Rs 50.46 crore.

The film has also achieved a notable milestone during its theatrical run. It has reportedly become the eighth highest-grossing Telugu film in India in 2026, moving ahead of Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur's Dacoit in lifetime collections.

The movie's third-week performance has been more modest compared with its first two weeks. It reportedly collected around Rs 27 crore net during its opening week and another Rs 9.65 crore in the second week. On its third Friday, the film added around Rs 25 lakh to its India net total.

Despite the drop in daily collections, its overall theatrical performance has given the film a successful run.
