Bhargava’s natural interest in all things tech lures him online, browsing for cool gadgets.
Most of us cannot imagine our lives without WiFi and phone connectivity. CashKaro’s Rohan Bhargava is no different. In fact, as a tech entrepreneur, his relationship with technology is a bit more intense.
While a day at work demands Bhargava to stay sharp on his laptop jumping between dashboards, data analysis and collaboration tools, his mobile devices are also a gateway to instant entertainment.
Staying productive “I can’t live without my laptop and smartphones,” admits Bhargava. “I use my laptop to crunch numbers, track our website, and reach out to my team — whether it’s in Gurgaon or our tech team in Chennai.” Bhargava prefers to use his phone to test new app features.
Platform agnostic An iPhone 6S is Bhargava’s primary handset. “I have been thinking of upgrading but haven’t found enough reasons to,” he says, justifying his attachment to the device.
He also carries a OnePlus 6T. “I don’t indulge in debates around Android vs iPhone as both are good with what they do. The iOS platform offers pure ease of use, while Android gives you access to quality apps for free,” Bhargava says.
But the tech boss knows when to stop before his phones turn to be a distraction. “I refrain from using my phones when I am in a meeting or having a conversation with someone,” he says.

Everything from Apple EarPods to fitness bands catch his interest. “Lately, I have discovered 3D holographic projectors that are now being used by many advertisers at movie halls. They’re like a device right out of the Hollywood sci-fi movies we saw as kids,” he says.
App-solutely useful

Speaking about his app usage, Bhargava says he uses Blinkist and the Norton Anti-virus app.
“Blinkist is an easy-to-use app for those who love audiobooks and prefer key insights in a nutshell. I have also discovered the Norton Antivirus app recently which, I feel, is a must-have in today’s times,” he recommends. Besides securing the phone, it [Norton Antivirus] also offers VPN access that comes in handy, Bhargava says.

I speak to Siri on the HomePod for tasks like playing music, TV, phone calls and more.
