Cannes diary: Deepika adds sparkle with Cartier necklace, Aditi Rao Hydari brings pop of pink for red carpet debut
The two Indian beauties showcased some bold yet fun fashion choices on the Cannes red carpet.

While Padukone mostly kept to the streets for these photoshoots, another Indian beauty, Aditi Rao Hydari made her red carpet debut at Cannes in a hot pink and purple gown with a thigh-high slit.
As the Cannes Film Festival continues to roll with the biggest names in the movie business from across the world paying attention to the event, Indian beauties are making quite a splash with their sartorial choices.
Deepika Padukone, a jury member at the grand film festival, recently made heads turn with her custom red Louis Vuitton gown on the red carpet, and after that, in a series of photos and Reels shared by the actress, she looked equally stunning in a black bodycon chic gown and a statement necklace from Cartier.
Padukone shared some stunning shots of her in the ensemble in which she kept her makeup minimal, with a touch of red lipstick. She paired her Cartier neck piece with a set of matching earrings. This isn't the first time that the actress had added sparkles of Cartier to complete her look at Cannes. In an earlier appearance this year, the 'Piku' star wore a black pantsuit and teamed it up with a Cartier choker.
Padukone has been experimenting with several looks this year, and giving fans glimpses of them through social media. In a recent Reel shared by the actress she can be seen sashaying down the streets of Cannes in a black turtleneck, and high-waisted checkered shorts. She added a Louis Vuitton bag to complete the look. In another Reel the actress donned a bubblegum pink skirt, with a white flared printed shirt. The actress took the look to high-end chic with knee-high boots.

The actress kept her makeup and accessories minimal, but completed the look with statement gemstone earrings, and matching high heels. She posed gracefully for the shutterbugs, and looked ravishing as she climbed up the hallowed steps.
Like Padukone, Rao too tried street photoshoots in the beautiful French city. Earlier the day, the actress channeled Audrey Hepburn in a little black dress and posed for photos in the lanes of Cannes.
