Pizza, pasta and burgers are a guilty pleasure for many of us. When cravings hit hard, we cannot help but reach out to these creamy, fried, and indulgent dishes. But after finishing the meal, the guilt leaves us inevitably sad. Loads of calories, carbs and fats make us question our food choices. But according to Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia’s trainer, Siddhartha Singh, there’s actually no harm in enjoying pizzas, burgers, or spicy Chinese foods, even when you are on a fitness journey. The trick is to maintain portion control. And Siddhartha’s Instagram post is the only guide you need.

Fitness trainer shares right way to enjoy pizzas and burgers

As per the fitness expert, pizza is a very balanced meal packed with carbohydrates, fat, and protein, which comes from paneer or chicken. But Siddhartha discourages polishing off the whole pizza at one go as it i soften loaded with about 1500 calories. Instead of relishing all the 4 or 6 slices, he recommends having 2 slices and calling it a day.

The same goes for burgers. Contrary to popular opinion, Siddhartha revealed that burgers can actually be quite healthy. Think about it: A burger usually comprises 2 pieces of bread stuffed with either a chicken or paneer patty. All you have to do is swap the fried patty with a grilled patty, go easy on the sauces, and stop yourself from having fries on the side.

How to enjoy fried Chinese dishes guilt-free

As for Chinese dishes, Siddhartha admitted that they can be very high in sodium and MSG. In fact, most Chinese meals are often fried, contributing to unhealthy calories. But the fitness coach assured that there’s no need to restrict yourself from enjoying this cuisine if you are genuinely craving some. Much like his previous suggestions, here too, the trick lies in portion control. Siddhartha advised sharing any Chinese dish with a group of friends, as you will automatically end up having less.

Ultimately, staying on a fitness track does not mean bidding farewell to comfort foods forever. A sustainable approach allows room for occasional indulgences while being mindful of quantities and preparation. So, the next time cravings strike, make smarter choices, savour every bite, and get right back to your routine.
