Most people think their financial stress comes from not earning enough, but a recent post by CA Nitin Kaushik is making many rethink that belief. His message on X struck a chord because it touches on something most of us were never taught. Instead of focusing only on income, he urges people to understand the hidden patterns behind how money moves, leaks, and grows. His explanation compares money to something we use every day but rarely think about: electricity.

CA Nitin Kaushik described money as powerful, useful, and dangerous, much like electricity. He pointed out that while we learn how to earn, spend, and save, no one teaches us the wiring that keeps our finances functioning smoothly. According to him, people grow up assuming money is only about earning more, when the real game lies in understanding how it flows, where it drains, and what it can energise in our lives.

He added that when you understand this circuit, money has the power to illuminate your dreams, goals, and freedom. But if the wiring is faulty, one wrong decision can undo years of effort. Kaushik explained that most people don’t actually have a money problem. They have a wiring problem. Emotions drive their decisions, cash sits idle for years, fear takes over when markets dip, and lifestyle upgrades keep overheating their savings until everything short-circuits.

Kaushik said that money demands clarity, discipline, and respect. When handled well, it becomes a strong source of power. When treated carelessly, it can create chaos across every part of life. He urged people to start learning how their financial wiring works because, just like electricity, money doesn’t forgive careless mistakes.
