Professional bodybuilder, Sheru Aangrish, recommends five ways to stay fit and healthy:

1. Incorporate fitness in your lifestyle. Be it a morning run, a yoga class or intense workouts; just make sure you are adding some physical activity to your daily routine. It's my personal belief that until you incorporate fitness in your lifestyle like other basic requirements, increased health standards won't get a push.

2. Have multiple meals in short breaks. For example, if you are eating X amount of components in three breakups, eat that in six. It will make a drastic change. Having small portions of healthy meals within three hours will boost your metabolism.

3. Stretching — mark this word in your workout regimen. Even if you do not work out, you should stretch. These days I come across people who face frozen shoulders, pain in elbows, stiff body and the basic reason is lack of flexibility. The human body should be flexible and athletic. As a pro bodybuilder, I used to stretch before and post my workout which has helped me maintain a relatively flexible condition even at 130 kg of body weight.



4. One advice to women, who in general are hesitant to try strength training. I want to encourage them as the skeletal structure of men and women is the same and you won't become masculine because the hormonal structure is totally different. Moreover, strength training will benefit you in various ways. For instance, women who strength train have less chances of getting wrinkles than women who don't.

5. You can achieve a good physique and shape by training, diet, and sleep. By doing so, you will not require external medical supplements that will act against you.
