Does your child find reading books the old-fashioned way boring? Bookful is a free app that offers books with 3D augmented reality animations that can help children develop an interest in reading.
The main interface shows you book covers along with a tag that indicates whether they are free to read or not.
For free books, you get two options: read or play.
In read mode, you can flip pages with the tap of a button and view animations for the topic, along with a narration.

In play mode, you interact with the various topics of the book – it helps to understand the topic better.
Both the modes give you the option to view the book in 3D mode or AR mode – you can zoom in and out as well as move around the objects appearing on the book for a better look.
Since the app is new, book selection is very limited and we found only one book available for free.
You can purchase additional books from within the app for US$ 1.99 per book.
