Bihar flood relief: SBI hands over Rs 1 cr cheque to CM Nitish Kumar

PATNA: Top officials of State Bank of India (SBI) on Friday called on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and donated Rs one crore to the CMs relief fund.

A cheque for Rs one crore was presented to the chief minister by SBI Managing Director- Praveen Kumar Gupta- in the presence of assembly Speaker - Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, an official release said.



Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included SBI's Chief General Manager Mahesh Goyal, CM's Secretary Anupam Kumar Suman, SBI's Assistant General Manager (AGM) (PR) M K Singh and AGM (SLBC)R K Das, the release said.

The SBI officials met the CM at his official residence 1, Aney Marg here.

The CM thanked the SBI for the contribution and lauded it for displaying commitment towards social causes.
