Bhavani Devi, Aryaman Birla and Sakshi Malik: What top sports stars do to stay fit
Here's what training and eating right means to these sport stars.

Sakshi Malik, Olympic bronze medal winning wrestler

When it comes to fitness, the most important part for me is to train as hard as I can without over-working myself. I make sure that I'm always on a strict diet and cook my own meals so that I can make sure whatever I eat is healthy and I can regulate my intake. Making sure that my workout and my training schedule is suited for my body is also very important. Because if I push too hard, that works as a disadvantage.
Tom Moody, former Australian cricketer

I try and exercise every day. From the coaching perspective you need to be fit to inspire the team. I try to just do an hour a day of exercise on top of things. I know I will not be able to emulate the 20-year-olds running around.

I do a lot of coordination and agility training. Also weight session is important. I have to work on my balance and coordination. The most important part is to stay fit and be injury free. Like any other sport, a balanced diet plays a major role in training. My diet consists of a good balance of protein and carbohydrates.
Dwayne Bravo, West Indian cricketer

Aryaman Birla, cricketer Madhya Pradesh Ranji team

I do pretty intense fitness. In this day and age we are able to have role models and see them on TV and realise the importance of fitness. There is a lot of strength work, power work, conditioning work, good recovery. All that comes under fitness. A really good diet and everything combined makes your fitness routine is something I have put a lot of effort in and something that I really think is important. I give a lot of time. It not only helps your game but is also a great lifestyle as well.
