Work keeps Amit Doshi, Founder of IVM Podcasts busy. But one of his interests is in tasting gins. This he engages in mostly with friends at home.

"People bring a bottle each and we all taste and rate. Been to some amazing Gin bars in the US which have hundreds of gins from around the world," he told ET Panache.

The most interesting flavour that Doshi has tasted is Nikka Coffey. He explains, "It is a Japanese Gin made by a popular Japanese whiskey maker. It's really fun, uses chillis and apples among other botanicals."

The game of Scrabble is something that helps the IVM Podcasts founder take his mind off work. He said, "Scrabble lets me think hard about something that has nothing to do with work. Also, I enjoy working on puzzles that don't have a single solution and Scrabble lets me do that."

Doshi plays mostly online and has a few scrabble friends, but he also plays a lot with strangers. "One of the best things with online playing is, that it matches you with people who have similar skill levels, so the games are competitive," he said.

The game has taught him some lessons that help Doshi at work as well. "There is generally a best answer to things, but there are always a lot of possibilities. And every choice you make has implications down the line is something that I have learnt along the way by playing Scrabble," he ended.
