Jungkook stole major limelight in the band's recent hit track 'Butter' with his long sleek violet hair, which later became talk of the town for a while.
The BTS ARMY from across the world is going berserk on social media as K-pop band's member Jungkook turns 24 on Wednesday. Excited fans are sharing pictures and sweet messages to wish Jungkook on his birthday, making the musician a trending topic on Twitter.
The fans have also been sharing adorable edited videos of Jungkook on the micro-blogging site. It's fair to say that for BTS fans, September 1 is Jungkook day, so all this hype on the Internet doesn't come as a shock. After all, Jungkook is an all-rounder. He can sing, dance and also rap and is considered as one of the most versatile artists in the band.
According to reports, Jungkook was only 14 when he first auditioned for a popular Korean talent search show. While he didn't make the cut, he surely stood out in front of many entertainment companies. Fans have also been bombarding all the old posts of Jungkook on BTS' official Instagram page.
BTS was already making headlines for their recent collaboration, remixed version of 'Butter', with Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion, which was released on Friday. The original 'Butter' previously stood at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts for nine weeks, marking itself as the longest-running No.-1 song of 2021 thus far, according to Billboard.
The K-pop band released 'Butter' back in May, which broke a YouTube record for concurrent viewers after getting around 3.89 million fans tuned in at the same time to see the music video. The official video has since been viewed more than 530 million times so far.

Even in the video, Jungkook stole major limelight with his long sleek violet hair, which became talk of the town for a while.
BTS, which is considered as one of the most popular boy band in the world, consists of Jungkook, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin and V. They have previously collaborated with famous artists like Steve Aoki, Halsey and Nicki Minaj.
The band also recently completed 3,000 days in the music industry.
