“During these unprecedented times, it is imperative to empathise with the team and convey a message of ‘I got your back’. I prefer to wear something that echoes positive energy and sets up a bright mood like chino shorts with a shirt or T-shirt in a light shade like aqua, turquoise, cadet blue, daffodil yellow, grapefruit yellow or white.”
Productive boost
“For me, the best days are when I actually dress up for work. It helps maintain a sense of normalcy and influences my mood. I prefer wearing smart casuals such as chino shorts with a shirt, denim shorts with solid T-shirts or a dark pair of jeans and a white shirt.”
Oxford hack
“For networking calls, I like wearing jeans with light-coloured shirts. Occasionally, I’ll add a blazer to the mix. When I have to attend impromptu video calls, I replace my T-shirt with any solid collared one or an Oxford shirt, preferably light blue or white. The oxford shirt’s thicker fabric makes it more comfortable and less formal than a typical dress shirt.”
