Apple likely to launch new Macs in March event, more upgrades to follow
Latest reports indicate that Apple is working on a slew of upgrades that will be launched in 2022.

Gurman in his report claims that there will be updates to entry-level MacBook Pro and Mac Mini initially. More Macs will be upgraded by May or June. The Cupertino-based tech major is expected to launch a new Mac Mini with an M1 chip, a bigger iMac Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max chip variants, a Mac Pro with Apple Silicon.
Besides, the tech leader is also likely to launch a 13-inch MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, a 24-inch iMac and redesigned MacBook Air reportedly with M2 Chips.
Apart from major upgrades, the list of launches by Apple in 2022 may also include Apple Watch Series 8 line, iPhone 14 line-up, and the new iPad Pro. However, Apple experts believe that the major attention of the year will be the Mac.
According to Gurman, this is because the company is entering the third phase of its end-to-end computer overhaul. The move to switch Intel Corp chips with Apple Silicon is a part of this overhaul. The transition reportedly started in 2020 with the introduction of the M1 versions of the Macbook Pro, Mac mini, and MacBook Air.
Apart from the all-new Mac, tipsters believe that iPhone SE 3 and iPad Air are likely to make an appearance at Apple’s rumoured launch event on March 8.
