Apple iPhone SE may flaunt iPhone XR design, to come with LCD display

Apple launched two updates to the powerful M1 chipset - M1 Pro and M1 Max. The new chipsets introduce a computer-focused ARM-based System-On-a-Chip (SOC) architecture to pro systems for the first time.

While the M1 Pro is said to perform almost twice as fast as its predecessor, Apple's largest-built chip M1 Max will perform twice the M1 pro and four times M1.

Claiming to create a beast, the tech giant also featured enhanced media engines with dedicated ProRes accelerators specifically for pro video processing.

M1 Pro also includes dedicated acceleration for the ProRes professional video codec, allowing playback of multiple streams of high-quality 4K and 8K ProRes video while using very little power. M1 Max goes even further, delivering up to 2x faster video encoding than M1 Pro, and features two ProRes accelerators.

The much-awaited 'Unleashed' event took the wraps of its new and improved MacBook Pro line-up. The new MacBook Pros join the 13-inch MacBook Pro with M1 to form the strongest lineup of pro notebooks ever.

Powered by the all-new M1 Pro and M1 Max chipets, the MacBook Pros are available in 14-inch and 16-inch models, priced at Rs 1,94,900 and Rs 2,39,900, respectively.

The education variants of the devices cost Rs 1,75,410 for the 14-inch model and Rs 2,15,910 for 16-inch.

Users can order their new MacBook Pro from Apple's website now. The devices will arrive to customers and will be available at select Apple stores from October 26.

The Pros feature a Liquid Retina XDR display, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, and six-speaker sound system.

The Magic Keyboard will make lives easier for Pro users with mechanical keys. The backlit keyboard adds elegance to the MacBooks.

Apple has introduced new keyboard shortcuts for Spotlight, Siri, Dictation and Do Not Disturb. The Touch ID has been updated that will make unlocking your Mac faster.

As far as the updates to the ports are concerned, the Pro devices will come with an SDXC card reader, HDMI output unit, 3.5 mm headphone jack and three Thunderbolt 4 ports. Also, the quick-releasing MagSafe 3 port is back on Pros.

The third-generation AirPods are here! The next-gen AirPods feature spatial audio, starting at Rs 18,900.

Users can order AirPods 3 on Apple's website from Monday. The device will reach Apple-authorised stores from October 26.

The new AirPods come with an H1 chip, Apple-designed acoustic system, and Adaptive EQ. Users can enjoy spatial audio featuring Dolby Atmos in Apple Music, movies, and TV shows, along with dynamic head-tracking, across Apple devices.

The device promises an extended battery life of up to six hours of listening time, and up to 30 hours of total listening time with the charging case.

AirPods (2nd generation) will now cost at Rs 12,900, and AirPods Pro with MagSafe Charging Case at Rs 24,900.

Apple launched three new colours in the HomePod mini - yellow, orange, and blue. The device will be available to you starting November at Rs 9,900.

The 3.3-inch tall HomePod mini offers a great music-listening experience, Siri's intelligence, and smart home capabilities with privacy and security built-in.

Users can access over 90 million songs from the Apple Music catalog. Apple Music Voice Plan, a new subscription tier for Apple Music, was also launched at Rs 49 per month that has been designed around the power of Siri.
