Apple’s latest smartwatch — Watch Series 7 — is an incremental upgrade with a bigger display that is also brighter and more functional. The display on the Watch Series 7 is 20% larger than the Series 6 and Series 5. A bigger display means the user interface is much better and looks great on the curved glass.

Watch Series 7 comes in two sizes — 41mm and 45mm.

It is powered by the S7 chip and swiping between watch faces, opening apps, replying to messages are smooth and fast.

The battery life is about the same as the previous iteration with 18 hours in the best-case scenario. Apple has not added any major health feature or sensor to the Watch Series 7.

The Watch Series 7 is more durable with a front crystal that is 50% thicker and is IP6X dust resistant, meaning there will be no scratches or damages even if you drop it on sandy or dusty surfaces. The screen size and display are its biggest highlights, and its ease of use is way better.

If you have a Series 5, Series 6 or even Watch SE, then you can skip the Series 7 as it is a largely cosmetic upgrade, but anyone with an older Watch should look at buying this as you get a more durable, betterlooking Watch.
