The M2 processor is extremely powerful, which most people may not require.
Apple Inc has been pushing its iPad Pro tablet as a suitable replacement for a laptop and its latest iteration comes with a super-fast M2 processor, found in the impressive MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.

Apple goes with a tried-and-tested design for the new iPad Pro, much like the MacBook Air, which looked pretty much the same for nine years.

The iPad Pro 11-inch variant weighs just 466 grams, while the 12.9-inch one is pegged at 682 gm. The familiar slab-like design is easy to use and looks great as well.

However, the 11-inch variant does not get a mini-LED display like its bigger sibling. That is a disappointment at this price point (starting at Rs 81,900).

But the colours are reproduced accurately, the content looks great with perfect contrasts and enough detail. Gaming also remains a delight due to its superior display and processor. It also sports a new party trick called Hover which works delightfully well with the Apple Pencil. A lot of creators and artists will appreciate this feature.

The camera setup is competent though hardly anyone would whip out their iPads to capture a sunset or a sumptuous dessert they have just ordered.

The M2 processor is, frankly, extremely powerful, which most people may not require.

The iPad Pro hardly breaks a sweat even while editing short videos.

The tab can be a laptop replacement but is expensive as you will need the Magic Keyboard, which costs as much as Rs 30,000. So, the base model (11-inch variant) with the Magic Keyboard will only be slightly less costly than the MacBook Air.

Is it worth the price?

The answer is yes since the iPad Pro is an absolute powerhouse performer in every sense.
