Tejashwi Yadav, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Bihar deputy chief minister, married Rachel Godinho at a ceremony held at his sister Misa Bharti's residence. The rituals were conducted at Bharti's residence on the outskirts of the city. The 32-year-old Tejashwi, who is the younger son and political heir of RJD chief Lalu Yadav, was the only one among his eight siblings not married.
Tejashwi's sister Rohini Acharya, who is based in Singapore, posted a few pictures from the celebrations on Twitter. She wished the couple "a lifetime of happiness". Tejashwi wore a golden sherwani, while his bride chose a traditional red colour lehenga on her special day.
