It's official! Katrina-Vicky seal their relationship with 'band, bajaa, baraat'; post happy pictures

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal married his lady love Katrina Kaif in a grand ceremony at the Six Senses Fort Barwara, Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan.

The couple uploaded identical posts on Instagram. They captioned it, "Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment . Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together."

Both uploaded four pictures from their big day.

Delhi Times had shared the first look of the newly-married couple at the wedding venue. The lovebirds were seen holding hands and sporting a wide smile. The mandap was surrounded by fireworks as the couple tied the knot and sealed their relationship.

Earlier ETimes reported that the baraat made its way to the wedding mandap after Kaushal’s ‘Sehra Bandi’ ritual was conducted. As part of the 'Sehra Bandi' ceremony, the groom’s paghadi is adorned with a ‘Sehra’ by his sister or sister-in-law. Dressed in a gold-pink sherwani, the 'Raazi' actor was taken in a vintage car for a baraat procession from one end of the hotel to the other. Kaif entered in a traditional Indian Doli, adorned with flowers, that was stationed inside the resort property.

Delhi Times also reported that the 38-year-old bride was spotted in a red Sabyasachi lehenga.

The dhol beats took over the 14th-century wedding venue which was the temple-facing, special glass pavilion set up in the Sheesh Mahal area of the hotel.

The Punjabi-style wedding had started at noon, and the auspicious time (muhurat) for saath pheras was between 3.30 pm and 3.45 pm. A dinner arrangement for the VIP guests has been made in front of the Sheesh Mahal and the party is expected to go on late into the night.

Reportedly, the wedding menu has a variety of Indian and western cuisines for their 120 guests. An Italian chef is said to have prepared a five-tier blue and white Tiffany cake for the grand ceremony, adding a royal touch to the ceremony.

ETimes also reported that the elaborate feasting continues with live stalls for kachoris, dahi bhalla and fusion chaat, paan and golgappas. Pan-Asian, North Indian delicacies like kebabs and fish platter, and Rajasthani cuisine like Daal Baati Churma are also being served.

Earlier in the run-up to the much hush-hush wedding, the guests were requested by the wedding planners called 'Shaadi Squad' to leave their phones in their respective rooms and refrain from posting pictures or using social media. The Shaadi Sqaud has previously planned weddings and engagement for many B-town celebs such as Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal and Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa.

With many Bollywood celebrities in attendance, the security at the fort has been tightened and no one allowed to carry mobile phones into the hotel. Digital media security stickers are being used for those who are carrying mobile phones. By using the digital media security sticker technology, the high-profile wedding is being kept secret so that no photos or video leaks occur from inside the venue. At the wedding venue, digital media security stickers are being installed on the camera of their mobiles.
