Anand Mahindra names his Scorpio-N ‘Bheem’ after Twitter poll, thanks followers for help

Billionaire Anand Mahindra, who is known for his unique and insightful tweets, has yet again taken to social media to seek recommendations from his followers. The 67-year-old industrialist recently engaged with his 9.8 million followers in a rather unique way.

On October 8, the industrialist took to his social media to share a poll with his followers. The Mahindra boss asked his followers what he should name his new Scorpio-N. He gave two options Bheem and Bichchu in a tweet to his followers. While Bheem got 77 per cent of votes, Bichchu got 23 per cent votes.

“Thank you all for the flood of suggestions for the nickname of my new Scorpio-N. I’ve shortlisted two. Here’s the final shoot-out between them. Need your verdict,” read his tweet.

Two days later, Mahindra in a subsequent tweet thanked his followers for helping him choose an apt name for his vehicle. He said that was a ‘no-contest’ and that he opted for the name Bheem. He said his new vehicle will now be named ‘Lal Bheem’. “It was a no-contest…BHEEM it is. My Lal BHEEM…Thank you for the suggestion,” read Mahindra’s tweet.

Mahindra, who has a penchant for innovation, also shared a video clip featuring a ‘wheeled spider’ on his Twitter account earlier today. The video showed a unique vehicle with wheels that resemble a spider’s legs. The businessman while sharing the post said that he was unsure if the vehicle was meant for mass production or just for recreational purposes.
In his tweet he also tagged Veejay Nakra, President of automotive division at Mahindra and another top executive to seek their opinion on the innovative vehicle.
