Army felicitates ex-drill instructor Major Swamy on his 100th birthday, Anand Mahindra shares heartwarming video
Mahindra said that he got goosebumps when he saw the 100-year-old stand up and salute.

On this special occasion, the Army honoured Major Swamy in the most heartwarming way. Billionaire Anand Mahindra who is known for sharing his source of motivation every Monday with his 9 million followers, took to his Twitter account to share a video of the felicitation of Major Swamy.
The two-minute clip shared by the Mahindra Boss shows Major Swamy alighting from an Army vehicle. Fellow Army Men are seen helping him get seated in a wheelchair. The personnel were seen transferring him to the wheelchair with utmost care. He was later taken to the venue by the officers.
Later, soldiers were seen gearing up for the parade in presence of Major Swamy. The soldiers later gave him a grand salute. Major Swamy is seen standing on the stage amid the gun salute. The veteran is seen standing and saluting with pride.
Mahindra while sharing the video tweeted saying that Major Swamy had instructed seven Indian Army Generals. He highlighted the Indian tradition of honouring teachers/Gurus. The 67-year-old went on to say that he had goosebumps when he saw Major Swamy salute. Mahindra ended his tweet by saying that this act of reverence and honour was his source of Monday's motivation.
