Anand Mahindra calls Twitter vs Elon Musk showdown ‘waste of time, energy & money’
Mahindra also said that Twitter is an indispensable source of news & connectedness.

Musk had put the deal on hold over reports of bots and spams on Twitter. The lawsuit filed in a court in Delaware Court of Chancery on Tuesday accused Musk of hypocrisy and bad faith for breaching his contract with Twitter.
Musk’s Twitter bid has been heavily publicised with his words and action being scrutinised publicly. The news of Twitter suing Elon Musk triggered a barrage of reactions on social media. Industrialist Anand Mahindra, known for offering his perspective on current events, took to the microblogging site to share his views on the situation.
The 67-year-old billionaire in his tweet said that the whole episode was a waste of time, energy and money. Mahindra asserted that Twitter is an indispensable source of news and staying connected.
The Mahindra boss went on to ask if Twitter could be operated as a ‘quasi-social enterprise listed for-profit bit with a strong charter and managed by a board of directors who would act responsibly.
“What a waste of time, energy & money. Twitter is an indispensable source of news & connectedness. Can it be run like a quasi-social enterprise—listed, for profit—but with a strong charter & managed by a board with directors who act responsibly like trustees?” read Mahindra’s Tweet.
