An Eggless Gulab Jamun Cupcake recipe so you don't miss cakes this Navratri

Saying no to eggs during the nine-day festival doesn't mean you can't eat cake.

Navratri, the nine-day Hindu festival, officially kicks off the festive season in India. Celebrated with much fervour, it is often marked by fasting in some parts of the country, with many people abstaining from non-vegetarian food during this period.

But that doesn't mean you have to give up on digging into delicious desserts.

If you're not fasting, but need to forgo non-vegetarian food, this Eggless Gulab Jamun Cupcake recipe is just perfect for you.


Ingredients:
Condensed milk: 100 ml
Castor sugar: 500 gm
Milk: 500 ml
Vanilla essence: 10 ml
Flour: 650 gm

Baking powder: 12 gm
Baking soda: 12 gm
Corn flour: 50 gm
Oil: 300 ml
Gulab Jamun: Half piece for one cup

Method
- Combine milk, sugar and condensed milk. Mix thoroughly till sugar gets dissolved

- Add baking powder, baking soda, flour and corn flour and mix
- Add vanilla essence and oil to make a batter
- Pour batter in to muffin mould (approximately 20 to 25 gm)
- Place half a piece of gulab jamun on top and serve

- Bake at 180 degree for 15-20 minutes
