Amber Heard shops at discount store with her sister after her lawyer says she 'absolutely' can't pay Johnny Depp

Hollywood actress Amber Heard woke up to a new reality after losing the defamation lawsuit filed by her ex-husband and Hollywood star Johnny Depp. Things don't look so colourful for Heard as the actress was spotted shopping at a discount store TJ Maxx in Bridgehampton, NY recently.

Heard, dressed in white shirt and blue jeans, was accompanied by her sister Whitney Henriquez, who had taken the stand on her behalf during the trial.

After Depp won the highly-televised court case, Heard's lawyer had revealed that the 'Aquaman' star could "absolutely" not afford to pay $10.35 million in damages to the 'Black Mass' star.


The 59-year-old actor had sued his ex-wife for $50 million for portraying him as a domestic violence perpetrator, Heard countersued for $100 million. Depp won on all the three counts on which he sued Heard.

In a fresh video shared by TMZ, the 36-year-old actress was seen perusing racks for clothes as she discussed 'white linen pants' with her sister Henriquez.

The two were seen pushing their basket, which was full of would-be purchases. However, the minute Heard noticed the camera recording her inside the store, she moved to another row in order to avoid being capture.

The five-man, two-woman jury, after deliberating over three days, unanimously found Heard liable for all three counts of defamation against Johnny Depp and awarded him $15 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages.
